I mounted Larsen NMO 1/4 wave antennas in the front roof rack feet. This will still allow me to use the cargo box.
I mounted the radio to a formed piece of 1/4" ABS. The external speaker mounted in the console replaces the CD holder and attaches the bracket.
The radio is mounted behind the rear seat where it should stay safe and cooler. The extension to the control head is just 6 conductor phone cable.
