This is my 2001 Chevrolet Crew-Cab S-10 4X4

I wish that Chevrolet would have built a ZR2 widestance version of this, but since they did not. I plan to build one, as close as possible, ...eventually.

This is the image that has inspired me, and the direction I plan to take this project.
( 1999 SEMA car show- "Baja S-10 Crew Cab" )

This project replaced "Thunder Chevy" and received the title-
"ThunderII- Tach's Cab"

The arrival of my son Tachoda nesitated the change in vehicles hence the "sequel" "ThunderII".

The Crew Cab has undergone quite a few changes.

Performance modifications include Hypertech's Power Programmer III.
It didn't make a huge improvement in power, and no change to gas mileage, but the shift firmness, and other available adjustments made it a good investment.

    Large capacity replacement radiator (Go/Dan part# 43 1405)
    Auxillary "sandwich style" transmission cooler
Engine block heater (part # ZRO 310-0057)
Diehard Platinum 78 battery
    EGR restrictor mod

Factory air box and modified headlight support
    CFM throttle blade
    1" throttle body spacer
    K&N FIPK
3" catback with high flow muffler (good low end improvement)
   Removed pre-cat
Heater control valve (it's nice to have cool feet now!)
    Taylor Spiro-pro plug wires
    Dual ignition coils
    MSD 6AL ignition control
    LS1 Electric fans conversion
   140 amp AD244 alternator
    Air Cleaner Restriction Indicator
    Jet Low Temp Stat
    Relocated IAT Sensor
    Corvette Servo
   Torque Converter Control Switch

The hitch plate for the winch is done and works well

Finally found a decent place to mount my CB. I removed the ashtray (not used anyway) and installed it there. For the CB antenna I used a glass mount on the rear window.
