Who makes a good timing chain cover?

Post by okaussiee »

My '02 is leaking oil really bad due to a leak on the timing chain cover gasket. Since the original cover is plastic, I have heard they are junk. Would like to put a metal one on there if it is better and will last longer..

I see Summit Racing has some that are metal.

What would be the best after market cover??

TIA

Avoid any of that chrome stuff, it leaks worse than the plastic does. I actually want to put something better on my V8. We put a new timing chain on and gasket etc when the motor was put in, and it leaks from the cover like you have no idea!
