Verizon email?

Post by MoJoe »

I am not seeing any email from the forum, i.e. notifications. Any ideas? I was prior to this 3rd site move, and from other forums it works well. No email blockers involved either.

I have noticed this as well, the automatic notification does not seem to be working for me as well (Yahoo) so it is not just a Verizon thing.

I'll check on it. I may need to reset the mail server.

I see the subscribed topics in the User control but still do not seem to be getting alerts. They are not in my spam box but I know with yahoo they sometimes delay sending what they see as bulk email so I will see if it comes through later on and let you know. I have had them hold some e-mails for as much as 3 days :!:

Yahoo and gmail have been pretty good. I am sure that it is probably something with the forum. I checked the settings quickly and ran a few tests. I have yet to receive a notification in the test thread.
Not too big a problem, I am sure we will get it worked out eventually.

I was able to email myself through the forum mass email function after I changed the smtp server and such, but haven't tried a topic notification yet.
